Context

The MARAM Framework was introduced to create a consistent, collaborative, and whole of system approach to family violence risk assessment and management. In line with this vision, members of the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Family Violence Partnership have been progressing collaborative multi-agency approaches to assessing family violence risk. This collective work and commitment culminated in the development of the Working Together resources.

Working Together is a suite of practice resources and tip sheets. It is the result of extensive consultation with RFVP members and brings together practice and lived experience knowledge to enhance collaboration between professionals. This includes promoting sharing of MARAM risk assessments between services where appropriate and enabling more coordinated multi-agency assessments of family violence risk.

Working Together includes six resources and each has a unique focus. Each resource promotes skills which are essential to collaborative practice or responds to practice issues which have been identified as a barrier to collaboration.

Each individual resource is available for download below. A consolidated document containing all six resources is available for download to the right.

Thank you to all partnership members, advocates and consultants who generously shared their professional and lived expertise to inform the development of these resources.

While not designed as a substitute for ongoing and multifaceted professional development, we hope that they will bolster professionals’ confidence; thereby contributing to a more coordinated and collaborative response for those experiencing or using family violence.
