The RFVP Therapeutic Hub is a free resource available to anyone looking for therapeutic services in the Eastern Metropolitan Region. It is designed to help people connect with appropriate supports and brings together the latest information about therapeutic services in our area. All service information is regularly updated and free to download.

TRAK Forward - Inner East

Eligibility Criteria: Adults with or without children; & children who reside in or with strong connection to Inner East – who have experienced family violence and moved through crisis and ready for therapeutic support

Location: Inner East (local government areas of Monash; Boroondara; Manningham & Whitehorse

Focus: One on one therapeutic work with victim survivors (both adult and children) to recover from the impact of family violence. Therapeutic groups with Doncare and EACH for women, primary school aged children, teens, and parent child groups. Co-design peer support group with Doncare and Lifecare for connection.

Crossway LifeCare - The Road Towards Recovery

Eligibility Criteria: Women who have experienced family violence and have been out of the relationship for at least 6 months.

Length: Tuesdays 12pm – 2pm 10th October – 5th December

Location: Waratah House

Focus:  A 9-week program which provides a safe space for women recovering from the impacts of intimate partner violence to learn, heal and grow.

  • Types, myths and patterns of family violence
  • Connecting with your emotions
  • Practical strategies to manage difficult emotions
