It is designed to help people connect with appropriate supports and brings together the latest information about therapeutic services in our area. All service information is regularly updated and free to download.

Pathways to Resilience Outer East - Outer East

Organisation: Alliance – Uniting; EACH; Australian Childhood Foundation; Family Access Network; Refuge Victoria

Eligibility Criteria: Children; Young people; Adults with links to Outer East who have experienced family violence

Length: Various programs, groups and 1:1 – most are 6 months in length

Location: Outer East (local government areas of Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges)

Focus: Tailored therapeutic programs to various ages, stages and cultural communities

EACH - Gamblers Help Eastern

Organisation: EACH

Eligibility Criteria: Free support for anyone impacted by Gambling harm, whether the gambler or an affected other e.g. spouse/partner/child/colleague/family member

Length: Unlimited support from counsellors both Therapeutic and Financial

Location: 11 sites throughout Inner and Outer Eastern Melbourne

Focus: Supporting people experiencing Gambling Harm through a minimisation strategy. Therapeutic Counsellors assist people manage their addiction and Financial Counsellors assist clients to get their finances back on track.

PhysioWorks - Touch Trauma Therapy - Camberwell

Eligibility Criteria: People who would like to explore and learn to manage physiological responses to trauma

Length: 10 sessions of 90 minutes

Location: Camberwell

Focus: Helping the client to focus on the sensations in their body allows self regulation techniques that may include breathing, movement, creativity and self massage all whilst maintaining an awareness of their physiological responses in a safe an supported environment allows a confidence in ones own ability to manage and respond, not react to stimuli that may lead to a heightened state.
