The RFVP Therapeutic Hub is a free resource available to anyone looking for therapeutic services in the Eastern Metropolitan Region. It is designed to help people connect with appropriate supports and brings together the latest information about therapeutic services in our area. All service information is regularly updated and free to download.

Migrant Information Centre - Individual counselling

Organisation: Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne)

Eligibility Criteria: CALD Women who have experience, are experiencing or who are at risk of experiencing family violence

Length: No limitations – based on needs of client

Location: Conducted in a place where the woman feels safe and to protect privacy.

Focus: Individual needs. Interpreters supplied if required

Organisation: Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne)

Eligibility Criteria: CALD Women – to provide better understanding of the impact of family violence on themselves and their children and to support their settlement and independence in Australia.

Length: 8 weeks

Location: Changes on the group – Eastern Metro Region

Focus: Increase participant self-esteem and empower them to make choices to ensure their, and their’s children’s, safety. Understand Family Law in Australia.

Chinese Community Social Services Centre - HERS: Hope Empowerment Resilience Strength - Online & Offline

Organisation: Chinese Community Social Services Centre

Eligibility Criteria: All vulnerable Chinese-speaking women (no matter their visa status) especially victim survivors of family violence

Length: 6 weeks – Wednesdays 10am -12pm

Location: Online & offline

Focus: HERS will serve as a mutual support hub to provide culturally appropriate supports and connections for a variety of life aspects including mental health, employment, family violence support, parenting
