The Working Together workshop series is open to all frontline professionals who have a role in responding to family violence. By joining the workshop series, you will:
Learn from other professionals and build your cross-sector network
Build your knowledge and confidence to collaboratively respond to family violence risk
Consider how to apply learnings from those with lived experience of family violence in your practice
The Working Together Workshop Series will run over 4 sessions:
Session 1: In person at Eva Burrows College, 100 Maidstone St, Ringwood VIC 3134, Wednesday July 23, 2pm – 4pm
Session 2: Online, Wednesday August 27, 2pm – 4pm
Session 3: In person at Eva Burrows College, 100 Maidstone St, Ringwood VIC 3134, Wednesday September 24, 2pm – 4pm
Session 4: [TBC – depending on preference of group members], Wednesday October 22, 2pm – 4pm
Please note that participation in the workshop series requires a commitment to attending all 4 sessions. The workshop series will have a mix of sessions that are delivered in person and online. Hybrid options combining in person and online will not be available. Please take note of which sessions will be held in person and which are held online to ensure you can attend all sessions before registering.
While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and prevent attendance, if you know at this stage that you are unable to attend all sessions, we kindly ask that you do not register. Places in the series are limited and we therefore need to prioritise making places available for those that can attend all sessions.
There will also be a small amount of work required outside of sessions. This will not exceed more than one-hour of time outside of each session per month and will generally involve contributing to a reflective discussion question prior to the workshop session on our shared Microsoft Teams site.
To support your participation, we also ask that you have your line manager’s support prior to registration. Additionally, we recommend placing the session dates into your calendar now to prioritise this time for the workshop series.
