Our MARAM Collaborative Practice Training is designed to strengthen your confidence and capability in working collaboratively to respond to family violence across our region. This free training brings together key MARAM concepts, frameworks and information sharing requirements, helping you apply them effectively in your day-to-day practice.
Each 3.5 hour, in-person session is stand-alone, so you can attend the session that best meets your learning needs, or register for both to further strengthen your practice.
This training is an important part of our Regional Family Violence Partnership, with participation and engagement across the sector helping to demonstrate the value and impact of our work. Partnership funding is linked, in part, to participation in training, meaning that each person who attends contributes to the funding that supports the delivery of our collective Action Plan. Strong attendance not only supports your own learning and professional development, it can help secure ongoing opportunities for collaborative training and workforce development.
The Collaborative Risk Assessment and Risk Management session focuses on applying the MARAM Framework in practice through a case study. It will cover how to collaboratively assess risk, particularly in a multi-agency context, including speaking with clients, documenting on assessment tools and building on prior risk assessments. The new case study used in this session takes a whole-of-family focus to include adults using violence and children.
In order to attend this session, you must have completed the relevant MARAM screening or risk assessment training for your role. You can check this here: https://www.vic.gov.au/training-for-information-sharing-and-maram
