The RFVP Therapeutic Hub is a free resource available to anyone looking for therapeutic services in the Eastern Metropolitan Region. It is designed to help people connect with appropriate supports and brings together the latest information about therapeutic services in our area. All service information is regularly updated and free to download.

Artful Healing

Organisation: Crossway Lifecare

Eligibility Criteria: Survivors of family violence.

Length: Wednesdays 10a, – 12pm from October 23rd 2024

Location:  Waratah House, City of Whitehorse

Focus: Artful Healing provides a consistent and supportive space where you can explore your creativity and reconnect with yourself. Here, you can focus on your own artistic expression without pressure to share or discuss your experiences. This program is designed to help you find comfort and build confidence through art. Whether you’re an experienced artist or new to the creative process, this is your space to relax, express, and heal. While this is a trauma-informed group it is not group therapy, but rather a self-care group.

Focus: Schizy Inc is one of the most established disability Lived Experience led arts organisations in Australia. Schizy Inc is lived/living experience led, managed and informed. Schizy Inc makes space in the arts for people with diverse and complex mental health.

Artist personal development, lived/living experience community, vocational pathways and improving arts diversity and inclusion.

Contemporary opportunities in visual arts, literature and the performing arts, with connected nature experiences.

Programs offered include dance, cabaret, stand up comedy, writing and more.
