The Workforce Development Working group assess and identify key workforce training needs and work collaboratively to build capacity through training, forums, professional development and networking. The group also can identify broader workforce issues (such as workforce availability, vicarious trauma, gaps in workforce capability or specific sector needs) and discuss solutions for addressing these and provide information for feedback regarding ongoing FV sector reforms and initiatives (via the Principal Strategic Advisor at the Statewide Family Violence Integration Committee). The group also play a role in ensuring workforce literacy and a common understanding of FV is addressed and in line with the Building from Strength: 10-year industry plan for family violence prevention and response.
